Business aviation deliveries grew in the third quarter

The third quarter of 2023 saw revenue and deliveries rise among business aviation manufacturers. (11/23/2023)

General aviation saw an increase in deliveries and an increase in the overall value of aircraft shipments during the first nine months of the year, when compared to the same period in 2022.

The data comes from the third quarter report from the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) with industry results demonstrating growth in the sector.

In the first nine months of 2023, there was an increase of 11.9% in deliveries of piston aircraft, reaching 1,135 units. Turboprops rose 14.6% with 439 aircraft delivered in the period, while business jets, in all categories, grew 2%, with 455 units. In terms of values, aircraft deliveries in the third quarter of 2023 were US$14.5 billion, an increase of 2.5%.
