Emirates launches air charter with Embraer jets made in the USA

Emirates has launched an on-demand regional charter service, offering flexibility, convenience, privacy and comfort for customers wishing to take short trips across the Persian Gulf and Oman. (07/11/2023)

Flights from Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Dubai will be operated by the airline’s Embraer Phenom 100 twin-engine aircraft, the service allows customers to fly between a wide range of destinations in the GCC region both included and not in the network from Emirates, with fast flights to destinations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and within the United Arab Emirates.

The aircraft accommodates up to four passengers and passengers on these short flights will receive a basket full of snacks and drinks. Each passenger can check in an average bag of up to 15 kilos, in addition to one carry-on bag. Customers should consult their booking agent or travel agent if they have any special requests.

The Phenom 100 jets serve the Emirates cadet school and are manufactured by Embraer in Melbourne, in the US state of Florida.
